Thai Restaurants are popping up everywhere in the Greater Seattle area and with so many options it’s hard to decide which one to try first! Luckily, we have no problem researching (or rather, taste testing) this topic for you!

Whether you prefer to dine in or take out, you won’t be disappointed in any of these authentic establishments found on the Eastside.

1.  Coconut Thai

“Love this place! It’s my new go-to for Thai, as I’m new to the area. I favor their noodle dishes, which are flavorful and delicious. The wait staff is also very friendly every time I go, and there is a nice, relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant.” – Spenser B. (Courtesy of

2. Sip Thai Bistro

“I’ve eaten here twice–and both meals have been amazing and memorable! I brought my kids here too–it was a little bit of a tight space for all of us, but the kids really enjoyed it as well. The staff is very friendly. The food is amazing. This is a great spot!!!” – Christy O. (Courtesy of

3. Sukho Thai

“Everything was had was really delicious. I was the only vegetarian so I had my usual concern that my family would be grumpy from the lack of meat. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. I especially liked the taro and cashew appetizer. It was covered in crispy sugary deliciousness. I also had a curry with lotus root. Not many places use lotus root. It has such a wonderful starchy crunch. We also got some fried Brussels sprouts which were pretty much devoured instantly. I can’t remember what everyone else ordered but there were clean plates. Service was great and the notations of gluten free dishes on the menu were much appreciated.” – Sarah D. (Courtesy of

4.  Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen

“We’ve been to Isarn a number of times. The food is consistently delicious and different than the regular Thai. Tonight though, we were treated to another treat in their bartender Brent who is passionate and inventive. He infuses various flavors into base liquors and then make creative and delicious mixed drinks!” – Christiana C. (Courtesy of

5. Thai Eatery

“We came in at 9:10pm expecting to have to take it to go because they were closing. They were so helpful and insisted it was no problem to serve us. They were very attentive, even though there were a couple other groups and 1 server. Our food came out very quickly. We had the Tom Kha Gai and yellow curry. The tastes were absolutely amazing. The potatoes were a little under cooked in the curry, but that’s a very hard thing to get just right. I have a favorite thai restaurant I go to in my town, but this one has tied for 1st!” – Sarah N.
