5 East Side dog parks to treat your pup to this weekend

We love our doggos here in the PNW. In fact there are more dogs living in Seattle than children. Celebrate the sun and warm weather by letting your fur baby roam free at one of these 5 east side dog parks.

    Luther Burbank Park

2040 84th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 9804

The Luther Burbank Park dog area has everything a pup could dream about. There’s plenty of room to run, a small dog area, and even a dedicated waterfront area just for them. The off leash area is on the northern tip of the park and you can get there from either the south entrance or the main entrance. Follow signs for the north lot and park. Follow the trail right of the parking lot and it will take you to the dog area.

    Marymoore off leash dog park

6046 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE, Redmond, WA 98052

Marymoore Park’s off leash area is 40 acres of heaven for all dogs to run and play. Adjacent to the OFA is a pet memorial garden and community garden. To get to the dog park enter through the main gate.  The park is in the south east corner and you must drive through most of the park to get there. Lot G parking will give you the most convenient access.

    Beaver Lake Park

    2600 244th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98075

Beaver Lake Park is a large multipurpose park with a boat launch, sports fields, and walking trails. The off-leash dog area is on the west side of the park to the east of the baseball diamonds. There is a designated parking area for the sports fields which provides the most convenient access to the off-leash area. And once you’ve tired out you fur baby go for a leisurely on-leash walk through the parks wooded trails.

    Issaquah highland dog park

25th & Natalie Way Issaquah WA 98029, Issaquah, WA 98029

The bark park at Issaquah Highlands is a medium sized wood fenced arear. There is a covered gazebo and benches for the humans. If you live near Issaquah the biggest plus is convenience. This dog park is ideal for a quick evening romp to tire out your pup.

    Robinswood community park

    2432 148th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98007

The dog area at Robinswod Park is a dog carol and smaller than some of the other parks on the list. It might be smaller but the Robinswood Park is the closest off leash area to downtown Bellevue and has plenty of walking trails for human’s and on-leash dogs.
